More motorway roadworks start today

RESURFACING work begins on part of the southbound M6 between Penrith and Tebay today.

There will be lane closures, with a 50mph speed limit in place, and the work is expected to last for five weeks.

Replacement of the safety barriers at the central reservation between Kendal and Tebay, where there is a 50mph limit and lane closures, continues as part of a 10 week project, which began on 15th September.
